Firewood Delivery: How long will the delivery take?
Standard delivery is 5-7 working days during the summer months, unless otherwise stated within the product description. If we anticipate any delay then one of our customer service team will call you to advise of a revised date.
We deliver to the majority of mainland England and Wales, and approximately 80% of all UK mainland properties. If we are unable to fulfil your firewood delivery you will be notified and a full refund will be provided.
Deliveries are typically made all day during weekdays, between 8am and 6pm.
Where will the driver deliver to?
Our aim is to follow any firewood delivery instructions supplied at the time of placing the Order. However, our firewood delivery service (for all Orders) is to kerbside only. Delivery to anywhere else on the property is at the discretion of the driver making the delivery. This is particularly relevant in the case of products supplied by pallet or dumpy bag which will be delivered to the nearest suitable point on your property which may be the kerbside. This is because these products are delivered using a tail lift vehicle and a manual pallet truck, and due to their size and weight cannot be maneuvered up or down inclines, or over uneven surfaces such as lawns or gravel driveways.
You should notify us at the time of the Order of any vehicle access restrictions or issues that may prevent us from safely delivering your Order. A charge may be made to you for non-delivery or re-delivery of your order.
What is the text before delivery service?
As the name suggests, request this service and we'll text you the day before to let you know your order is on its way. Just select this option during checkout.
Is there any charge for delivery?
The prices you see on our site include VAT. Delivery is free to Mainland England and Wales when spending over £50 in a single transaction. A delivery charge for small orders less than £50 in value, or for shipping destinations outside mainland England and Wales applies.
What if I want to return the goods?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact us within 14 days of receipt. We will arrange to collect the goods at our cost and sort out a refund. We will refund you in full within 14 days of collecting the goods, providing goods are returned in original packaging and condition. We will refund you using the same credit or debit card used to pay for the goods.
